Rocktoberfest was the party that we had imagined it would be. The weather did keep the number of people down, but everyone that madeit out had a great time. It was a sight to see, people from all kinds of backgrounds together enjoying brisk day outside with some great bands cranking out great tunes.We can all hope for a bit nicer weather next year.
Even though it was cold, the party was allways going in the Dancers Ranch tent. We were a bit fortunate in the fact that we had the only heated area of the festival. A person almost had to feel bad for the bands playing on Friday night in 35 degree weather while everyone was at Dancers.

Here are some photos from the two wet t-shirt contests we held at Rocktoberfest.

We also raffled off a one of a kind leather jacket with the Rocktoberfest logo embroidered on the back and Dancers Ranch on the front. The proceeds from this raffle are being donated to the Vets Hospital. Here are some photos of the winner and his jacket.
Last but not least, A.B.A.T.E. of Iowa, district 5, did the security for us at Rocktoberfest. To show our thanks, we gave a donation of $1500.00 to them. Thanks to all that helped out.
